    I’m Shawn Steenson, a licensed real estate agent with Bloxham Realty, operating under REAL Broker LLC. I serve Idaho Falls, Ammon, Rigby, Rexburg, Shelley, Sugar City, St Anthony, Ashton, Island Park, Pocatello, Blackfoot, Arco, Mackay, and the surrounding Eastern Idaho communities.     Small town roots, real world sales experience

    I was raised in Arco, Idaho, a place small enough that I graduated high school with 29 other students. We had an acre of land, a family that worked hard together, and a community where your word meant something. That’s still how I operate.

    After earning a Business Management degree from BYU-Idaho, I spent nine years in direct sales. Three of those years were with Vivint Smart Home and six were with Vivint Solar and Sunrun Solar. Most of it was door to door, which is about as raw as sales gets. You learn fast that people can spot a pitch from a mile away, and the only thing that earns trust is actually caring about the person standing in front of you. That mindset carried straight into real estate and it hasn’t changed.

    My wife and I are raising three daughters here in the Idaho Falls area. We love being outdoors. Hunting, hiking, camping, and archery tournaments are how we spend our best family time. I take my health and fitness seriously, too. When I’m not helping clients close on a home, I’m probably on a trail or at the gym. Eastern Idaho isn’t just where I work. It’s where I live, where I’m raising my family, and where I plan to stay.

    Relocation to Eastern Idaho: Moving to Idaho Falls, Rexburg, or anywhere in the region from out of state? I send video previews of homes and neighborhoods so you can evaluate properties before you ever set foot here. Whether you’re coming for Idaho National Laboratory, BYU-Idaho, healthcare, or just a better quality of life, I’ll give you the local insight that online listings cannot.

    Investors: I keep the investor conversation grounded in real numbers. We look at rental comparables, market trends, and realistic return potential so you can make informed decisions. Eastern Idaho’s rental market, particularly in Rexburg with BYU-Idaho’s student demand and in Idaho Falls with INL’s steady employment base, creates real opportunity for the right properties. I present the data and you decide what makes sense for your goals.

    Land and acreage buyers: Buying raw land in Eastern Idaho is different from buying a house. I help with due diligence on access, utilities, well and septic feasibility, zoning, and future use, because the last thing you want is to close on a beautiful piece of ground and then find out you can’t build on it.

    New construction clients: I guide clients through the builder process from contract to final walk through, including selections, timelines, and the fine print that builders don’t always explain up front. Whether it’s a new subdivision in Ammon or a custom build near Rigby, I’m there for every step.
